I would just like to let you know that whilst we are sold out of the current model  ,we are releasing a new model DYX  series two Pit Bike 140cc .The new  Demon X DYX dirt bike 140cc which will be in stock  at the end of May 2008  .The Demon X series two Has been improved yet again ,I will just go through a few of  the upgrades that will be on this new model at the moment .The new model will feature MX tyres which are a lot knobbly than the current enduro tyres fitted to the Mk 1 .We have listened  to your feed back and the general consensus is that the knobbly tyres are preferred choice to the enduro tyres currently fitted to the DYX 140cc series one . The second upgrade  is the frame  The Demon X  DYX  140cc Pit bike now comes with lighter and stronger chrome molly frame  ,this will  make an already very good handling and balanced PIt Bike exceed your expectations on and off  road . especially when performing big air jumps .In fact the frame fitted On the Series two DYX 140 is the same frame that is  fitted to  our Flagship model the Proline 150cc . The Proline comes ready to race out of the box  and has performed extremely well in competition use .The third improvement is to the rear swing arm whilst the original model boasted a alloy swing arm we were really never happy with the quality and have now updated The DYX  with a lighter stronger alloy version similar again to the one fitted to our flagship model Proline 150cc .Other Mods also include stainless steel foot Pegs , cnc fuel cap ,Improved seat for durability and comfort ,

With so many Pit Bikes on the market to choose from  why buy one of our bikes?

Frame

First of all , lets look at the frame it is extremely important that if you are considering a pit bike for off road use that the frame is the twin beam type and has the cradle feature which supports the engine from underneath. Even with light off road use the single beam frames without the cradle feature are prone to breaking and this can be a costly and time consuming component to replace. A frame breaking during use can also be very dangerous.
All Demon X bikes are fitted with twin beam cradle frames to give you the confidence even under extreme off road riding.
 
Engines

Over the years we have used many different engines, but for the 110cc bikes the Lifan 110cc engines have proved to be by far the most reliable with less than 1% failure rate. It is also requires very little maintenance and is easy to start even when left for long periods. We have tried other engines which are cheaper but we found that the failure rate was a lot higher and the cost of replacing them and the inconvenience to our customers did not warrant saving the difference. For the higher capacity engines we only use YX engines from YX Motorsports.The reasons for this are simple, YX engines are more powerful and reliable than any other engine in this class and they are much easier to tune for racing with many parts available for upgrading. We have also negotiated with YX Motorsports that our entire engine are fitted with Japanese bearings to provide longer engine life especially when engines are tuned for racing.
 
Pit Bike Wheels
 
The best wheels available are SDG wheels if the bike you are considering does not have SDG wheels then be prepared for wheel failure, especially the rear wheels as the non SDG wheels are very weak due to the poor construction of the hub and rim.SDG wheels also have stronger spokes for longer life and less maintenance.
All Demon X bikes are fitted with SDG wheels as standard.in a combination of 12/14 other sizes are available on request . 
 
Chains KMC 420/428
 
We fit all our bikes with KMC chains because they are the strongest available, cheaper chains from China will stretch and break even with low power engines. Chains breaking during use can damage the bike and the rider as well as causing inconvenience. We fit all our bikes up to 140cc with 420 pitch chains and all bikes with 150 and 160cc engines with 428 pitch KMC chains to make sure there is as little maintenance required as possible.
 
Fuel tanks
 
We have upgraded our fuel tanks to the tougher polymer resin type for safety as split tanks can be hazardous and inconvenient when they fail. These fuel tanks are more expensive to buy and from photographs look very similar to the cheaper ones but we will not compromise on matters of safety.
Throttle & Clutch Cables.
There are many different clutch and throttle cables available for Pit Bikes from various factories, without specifying exactly which supplier you require the factory to buy from, you will experience a high failure rate in clutch and brake cables snapping after only a few minutes of use. We have our own engineers constantly researching   making sure all our cables and fasteners are purchased from the correct suppliers so the inferior components do not get fitted to our bikes.
So if you are looking at all the bikes available ask the sellers if their bikes have these features because without them you risk buying a product that will need parts replacing regularly and the possibility of serious injury. Demon X bikes may be a little more expensive than others but you get what you pay for remember you cannot buy a BMW with ford Focus money  and in this case it is our experience and commitment to producing  the best quality dirt bikes and providing a quality after sales service.
